This is a motion graphics & animation project I made using Adobe software: After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop. All of the assets I created myself.
I started with creating a storyboard. I drew it by had using Procreate app on my iPad, then exported to Adobe Illustrator and added text and arranged some details.

With this project, I explored two types of animation techniques: frame-by-frame animation using traditional rotoscoping; and rigged animation using After Effects plug-in Rubberhose. I found that frame-by-frame animation is extremely time-consuming! But I think the result is worth it. Rigged animation looks like modern 2D cartoons and is so much easier to develop.
I enjoyed working with both types of animation and would love to explore more.
